Swipe:
As big fan of stupid jokes....I always appreciate a stupid joke in public like this (that also gets it more views):

It says "Call this M.F." which makes you think (a certain word), but MF just means Matt Flannery 🤣 🤣 🤣
Wisdom:

.....over 20+ years I've tried alllll different forms of meditation, and I've come to the conclusion that for myself, trying to "turn my brain off" doesn't do much for me.
I think I'm dumb and just don't have that many thoughts.
What works better for me as a form of meditation is WRITING OUT what I'm thinking.
So if I have a problem I'm working on, sitting there with a pad and pen and just writing out ideas, potentials, drawing doodles works far more wonders for me. (Just my personal opinion on meditation).
Interesting:
I wrote this little article that if you're planning a sale, try attaching it to a holiday.

This is the simple formula behind a sales promotion like this:
![]() |
It's so simple because it convinces people who are ALMOST about to buy your product, but are waiting for a discount or the "right time" to buy.
For example, these are real holidays for the rest of 2025 you can pick as deadlines to build a promotion around:

A simple pleasure I have is just sitting in my car and chilling while listing to a podcast or music or watching a video:

I have a special "chill" setting I push and it reclines my seat waaayyy back. I do this in the garage or outside of it sometimes.
Yesterday I was doing this while it was pouring rain....and it just felt fun :-)
Essay:
The amount of joy, entertainment, learning I get from free podcasts is unreal.

Here's a list of what's on my podcast feed that I most frequently listen to:
Tuesdays with Stories: Mark Normand and Joe List just tell stories and be stupid.
We Might Be Drunk: Mark Normand and Sam Morrill talk about comedy, life, and have guests on.
Kill Tony: 200+ comedians signup to be pulled out of a bucket and do 1 min of stand up comedy, hilarity ensues.
Joe Rogan Experience: Joe Rogan talks guests about different stuff.
My First Million: Sam Parr and Shaan Puri discuss business ideas and talk to guests about money/business.
Collin and Sameer: They talk about creator economy stuff.
Stavvy’s World: Comedy podcast by Stavros Halkias, a big fat Greek guy who is funny.
American Optimist: Joe Lonsdale interviews founders and smart people.
This Past Weekend: Comedian Theo Von interviews people in his very one-of-a-kind style.
Lex Fridman: Interviews with technologists and other thinkers.
Good Bad Billionaire: They pick a billionaire and rate them based on different qualities.
Iced Coffee Hour: Graham Stephan interviews people about money stuff.
Marketing School w/ Neil Patel and Eric Siu: Daily updated show where they talk about all things marketing
Modern Wisdom - Chris Williamson interviews people about life advice.
VladTV - He interviews rappers, gangsters, and in general kind of wild people who you wouldn't normally hear from.
All In - They discuss current tech stuff and offer different views.
The Art of Manliness - Talks and interviews about life and being a man.
Neville Medhora Talks Copywriting (HEY THAT'S ME!) - Where I interview people and learn about marketing and business from them
I'm always open to new pods if you have some recs!
Splurge:
I use this pretty much everyday, and always bring it while travelling:
The Kindle Paperwhite book reader!

This made me read WAY MORE in the recent months, and the reason is interesting:
I used to buy tons of books which end up sitting on my nightstand and would get bored with some of them, which made me read less (because I wasn't excited to read them):

But with the Kindle I'm able to preview books, read them for a few chapters, then decide if I want to continue.
For this reason alone I end up only buying books I like reading all the way through, and LOOK FORWARD to reading.
It's also been a game changer for saving space in my backpack when I travel!
Hope you enjoyed!
Sincerely,
Neville Medhora
