A good Copywriter is always moving someone towards an action.
The job of your copy is to act like a “slippery slope” in which the reader is:
...first sucked in by the headline.
….then sucked in by the 2nd line.
……..then sucked in by the 3rd line.
……… then to take an action.
Basically you guide people down a slide like this:

Your emails should also be like this.
Each email should make people take some sort of action like:
• Be entertained.
• Buy a service from you.
• Buy a product from you.
• Take away a valuable lesson.
The end action is your choice.
