Some days I wake up and I'm sort of grumpy. A great way to get back on track and happier is be happy about what you have.

I can sit in bed and say to myself positive things I currently have, generally starting from internal to external.

I might have an inner dialogue that says:

  • I have two working hands.

  • I have two working legs.

  • I currently don't have any illnesses and feel good.

  • There are a billion people that would trade their bodies for my body.

  • I can see with my functioning eyes.

  • I had LASIK and upgraded my eyes, and I'm happy I could afford that.

  • I have a nice warm and clean bed I sleep in.

  • My ancestors has only a 1,000th of the luxuries I enjoy and take for granted.

  • I have food in my fridge.

  • I have friends and family that love me.

  • .....and so forth.

Just being happy about allllll the tiny little things I can think of.

Even doing just ONE of these things exercises off this list can be great for your mood!
